Aerotek Production Worker (Annex) in Red Lion, Pennsylvania
Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
We are currently hiring for a 2nd shift general production worker at our Annex facility. You will be using hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble various components of flooring and drop ceiling products. All lifting will be done as a team, but you should be comfortable lifting up to 30-35lbs on your own a few times per shift. There is also an opportunity to train on machinery once hired.
Responsibilities
Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet Quality standards while maintaining established production standards.
Read and follow established Manufacturing Operating Procedures or Standard Operating Procedures without deviation unless approved.
Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.
Efficiently use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of product or material.
Place materials such as panels or tile in machines or on conveyors in the prescribed manner and sequence while maintaining smooth flow of operations.
Perform various trimming, indexing, or cutting procedures as required.
Keep the supervisor informed of problems and equipment that is not operating properly.
Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.
Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. and a maximum of 45 lbs. continuously for at least an 8-hour shift.
Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
With proper PPE provided, must be able to work in an area that may contain non-hazardous airborne particles due to the manufacturing process.
Must be able to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift.
Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and tape measures.
Machine operation experience is a plus.
Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is a plus.
Ability to interface with a diverse workforce.
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.

Work Environment
Annex - very clean and up-to-date but loud. Only about 15 employees at a time working on the floor. The annex building specifically specializes in containment door assemblies. Main - older, larger facility with about 40-60 employees per shift, loud as well. Dress Code: Long pants are required – no sweatpants. A minimum of equal length to a short sleeve is required – no sleeveless. Steel toe shoes are required – met-guards are offered to strap over steel toe.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.35 - $18.35
