This position is responsible for observing, monitoring, and protecting all assets of the company, guests, vendors, and team members. All positions within 7 CLANS CASINOS are responsible for the overall maintaining of excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace. All positions within the Enterprise require attention to quality guest services skills and exceptional team work.This position is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of guests, team members, vendors, and all company assets.

The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities of this position. However, other duties will be assigned as deemed necessary by reporting department management and will be addressed per department job descriptions and Policies and Procedures.

CASINO/DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS

Responsible for the safety and well-being of guests, vendors, and fellow team members, patrols all sections of property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security and report to lead and or supervisor.

Works effectively with all departments assuring efficient security support is provided when needed.

Remains alert to any unusual or questionable activity by casino Team Members, vendors, or gaming guest.

Maintains excellent working relationships with other company staff, vendors, and contractors.

Aids law enforcement authorities as needed under the direction of management.

Regularly assist in transporting and escorts regarding assets transported throughout locations of the operational facilities during their assigned shift including assisting with guest escorts when requested.

Documents and reports all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy, makes immediate, accurate detailed descriptions of people and incidents.

Ensure that all functions and duties are maintained in a professional and efficient manner.

Perform other duties as assigned by Department Management.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Monitors all relevant activities of the department, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the organization, and the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and the Otoe-Missouria Gaming Commission (OMGC) are understood and enforced by departmental personnel.

Ensures all assigned staff are aware of, understands and complies with regulatory requirements and enforces regulatory standards through discipline when necessary.

Performs all duties in accordance with company team member handbook, objectives of the Otoe Missouria Tribe, internal policies, procedures, and controls, as well as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, OM TICS, the Bank Secrecy Act.

Judgment/Decision Making

Forms opinions and makes decisions based on information and the identification of available facts. Makes decisions or draws conclusions using available data and from experience. Avoid situations that could be deemed illegal or represent a safety hazard to fellow team members or guests.

Continually evaluates means and methods of departmental operations to ensure maximum efficiency.

Communications

Makes effort to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, departmental log/shift reports, departmental/company emails, signage, and company newsletter.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform ach essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Individuals must be at least 21 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma (or equivalent) One (1) to Two (2) years experience in security preferred or a combination of education and security experience within specific areas of responsibility. Casino experience preferred.An equivalent combination of Customer Service and Communications experience may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and completing assigned tasks.

Knowledge, skills, and experience in the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of staff, communications, decision making, problem solving, complaint resolution and resources allocation.

Read, write, and speak the English language. Read professional publications, memos, emails, logs, newsletters, and documents.
