[Job Description]{.underline}

This is an application for heathers, vines, ground covers, perennials, ornamental grasses. Work duties include preparing soil and growth media, cultivating and otherwise participating in horticultural activities on acreage, in a nursery, or in environmentally controlled structures such as a greenhouse or shed. 1-month verifiable experience in nursery duties is required

4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 70lbs. 4g) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. 4h) May require extensive pulling and/or pushing of tools, wheelbarrows, fruit containers, etc. 4i) May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time while sorting, picking, examining, weeding, transporting, pruning, etc. 4j) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing farm labor such as weeding, irrigating, pruning, picking, removing debris, etc. 4k) There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the farm labor duties

1.Workers can also: 2.Drive tractors 3.Spray and mix chemicals and fertilizers 4.Drive trucks to transport farm equipment, crops and farmworkers to and from different locations within the farm 5.Perform general repair of agricultural equipment 6.Pack crops into containers.

Frequency of Pay: Biweekly

Hourly: $19.25

 

The employer may offer overtime pay for more than 40 hours worked per week. Regular hourly pay is $19.25. Overtime is offered at $26.12 per hour. Overtime hours are not guaranteed as it depends on various factors such as workload, deadlines, among others.

Prospective applicants need to have full-time work availability and be able to work at least 8 hours per day.

Employer guarantees to offer employment for the hourly equivalent of 3/4 or 75% of the workdays of the work contract beginning with the first day of work.
