Our client is currently seeking a Lab / Test Engineer to join their team onsite in Redmond, WA. The role of this engineer is to apply configuration skills at a basic to intermediate level. The Test Engineer will also design and develop test plans and should be familiar with at least one programming language.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes
Create, manage, and run Azure Pipelines
Create and manage Azure Resources
Interpret and modify code as required that may include YAML, C / C++, C#, batch files, PowerShell, make files, and / or bicep
Write automation test scripts for simulating user interactions such as data entry, menu selections, mouse actions, data I / O, etc
Run BVT’s, debug, troubleshoot, report and escalate as necessary
Be familiar with.NET and SML framework
Develop programs in at least one language (such as C / C++, VB, SQL, etc.)
Read logical and physical data model diagrams
Set up and manage hardware lab
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and some business / functional knowledge and / or industry experience preferred
Minimum 2 to 4+ years of experience
Minimum 1+ years of experience of
Azure DevOps experience
Powershell: C# and .NET
Python
Software testing experience in a Web-based or Windows client / server environment required
Experience in development and / or database administration experience using client product required
Ability to read and write at least one programming language such as Python / C#, C / C++ Knowledge of software quality assurance practices, with strong testing aptitude
Knowledge of personal computer hardware and peripherals may be required
$49.35 - $54.50 per hour
Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
