Join the Microsoft Teams Data Platform team as a Senior Product Manager and thrive in a cutting-edge, agile engineering environment where you will play a pivotal role in building a world-class product. As a Senior Product Manager you are a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and driving our data platform/pipeline strategy and vision. You will be responsible for developing and executing on our roadmap and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Driving innovative ideas on big data processing and working directly with engineering to ensure that implementation meets or exceeds product and business needs.

  • Setting product strategy and vision bydeveloping and owning the overall data pipeline strategyand data entity definition and management for Microsoft Teams.

  • Collaborating with partner teams within the Teams org, as well as the rest of Microsoft, to share and leverageindustry best practices andevolve our tech stack and data assets.

  • Solving complex problems to ensure the continued success of the Teams product.

  • Building consensus across a wide array of stakeholders and ensuring that all perspectives are taken into account when making major decisions about the future of our data platform, pipeline, and entity definitions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in developing and shipping back-end services; experience with data pipeline, data management, andinfrastructure.

  • Demonstrated collaboration skills influencing peers and leaders to embrace best practices and align to engineering goals

  • Proficient verbal/written communication skills 

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
