The Identity & Network Access Organization, a vital part of Microsoft's Security division, is responsible for building, deploying, and running Microsoft Entra and its suite of products, empowering billions of users globally. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the product strategy and execution for the Entra Suite, driving product leadership, customer insights, and business growth. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, sales, marketing, customer experience, and more—to deliver exceptional products that meet customer requirements and drive business success. You will track sales, trials, and usage funnels, providing insights and updates on the progress of the Entra Suite business. Additionally, you will play a key role in leading product strategy for new sovereign clouds, partnering with technical program management teams to ensure our services meet the unique needs of customers worldwide.

You will also engage in targeted interactions with key customers to gain insights into their priorities and perspectives, helping to shape our strategy and address critical escalations. Furthermore, you will drive the product strategy and vision for compliance initiatives, partnering with compliance teams to ensure our services meet regulatory requirements and are effectively communicated to customers. Responsibilities

  • Lead Product Strategy and Execution for the Entra Suite:

  • Develop and refine the product vision and roadmap for the Microsoft Entra Suite.

  • Track sales, trials, and usage funnels to monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities.

  • Provide insights and updates on the progress of the Entra Suite business to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, customer experience, and other teams to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.

  • Engage in targeted interactions with key customers to gain insights into their priorities and perspectives, helping to shape our strategy.

  • Address critical customer escalations that impact product success and drive resolution by collaborating with relevant teams.

  • Lead Product Strategy for New Sovereign Clouds:

  • Define and drive the product strategy and vision for new sovereign cloud offerings.

  • Partner with technical program management teams responsible for the buildout and deployment of services in sovereign clouds.

  • Ensure that sovereign cloud offerings meet customer requirements and align with overall product goals.

  • Collaborate with external organizations—including partners, regulators, and customers—to gather insights and inform product strategy.

  • Drive Product Strategy and Vision for Compliance Initiatives Develop and communicate the product strategy and vision for compliance across Entra services.

  • Partner with compliance technical program managers to ensure alignment and support for compliance initiatives.

  • Publicize compliance achievements and certifications to enhance customer trust and product credibility.

  • Incorporate compliance considerations into product planning and ensure they are effectively communicated to customers.

  • Promote a Diverse and Inclusive Culture Actively contribute to promoting a diverse and inclusive culture within the organization.

  • Participate in D&I events and discussions, and lead or partner on new initiatives to enhance team culture.

  • Demonstrate commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Proficient understanding of identity and access management (IAM) solutions and cloud services.

  • Proven experience in product leadership, driving product growth, and delivering business results.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a committed customer focus.

  • Experience engaging with external organizations, including partners, government regulators, and customers.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and certifications for cloud services.

  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and drive alignment to achieve business objectives.

  • Proficient analytical skills, with experience in tracking sales, usage metrics, and providing business insights.

  • Ability to address technical challenges and problem-solving skills.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
