Our Azure Air Gap and Sovereign Foundation team is seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to join us as a Senior Security Assurance Program Manager, to drive a secure cloud architecture that will improve margin, quality, and drive innovation for government customers. This individual will work closely with software engineering peers, operations, and Azure Leadership to dig into technical details and align stakeholders to architect new clouds. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to build and leverage your understanding of Azure, Microsoft services and/or technical approaches to further develop and evolve the cloud deployment and operations strategy for Azure. In this role, you will drive complex engagements that encompass multiple dimensions including, technical, financial, compliance, regulatory and legal concerns.

Responsibilities
Identify and work toward resolution from development to research of high value projects (deliverables: assessment products, training, and mitigation efforts with teams)
Cyber Security Incident Analysis and research.
Build a program for hardware supply chain analysis and reporting.
Analyze the cyber activities on anomalies employees might come across.
Plan and manage Monthly Awareness meeting with all stakeholders and leadership.
Create Security Analysis Reports that contain Comprehensive assessments of security incidents, highlighting potential intelligence involvement and sophisticated cyber threats.
Create and manage Threat Intelligence Briefs which contain Regular updates on emerging threats, based on real-time data analysis and intelligence gathering.
Create and manage a Best Practices Guide containing strategies and tactics for mitigating identified threats.
Drive and effectively manage projects with leadership visibility and critical dependencies across a variety of cross functional teams for personnel metrics, tooling and collaboration.
Develop a deep understanding of how government customers use Azure and their need for differentiating technologies with data sensitivity top of mind.
Partner with engineering, infrastructure, marketing, compliance, finance, legal, and other Microsoft teams to translate customer demand signals into platform priorities to unblock Azure growth.
Traditional PM functions: quality control, risk management, developing and tracking project schedules, communicating to key stakeholders, effective and efficient decision making, meeting deadlines
Be Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, engage Engineering teams to remove blockers.
Demonstrated people management and leadership, Operational Control (operating and budgeted expense). He/she will need to work with and motivate others, have a high-level team integration skill. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills as well as can interface effectively with employees and customers of all levels.
Drive cross functional team orchestration for complex delivery of features against the service/product roadmap. Develop, track, coordinate, and manage risk of end-to-end project delivery schedules at tactical and executive levels. Understand critical path and dependencies to hold stakeholders accountable adjusting as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Identify, collect, and summarize performance metrics to derive deep insights to lead to course corrections and optimizations. Leverage customer listening, telemetry, root cause analysis to form hypothesis and make data drive recommendations to engineering teams
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection
OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
OR equivalent experience.

Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Candidates must have an active TS and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph) or have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
Clearance Verification : This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government Clearance
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
2+ years of industry experience with an emphasis on government and industry customers that are mission focused and/or deal with sensitive and classified workloads.
1+ years of industry experience in managing large, complex, cross-functional projects
4+ years experience in Cyber analytics and briefing high level executives on Cyber reports
Proven ability to ramp quickly to understand and solve complex problems such as integration of technologies or environmental issues that are blocking a scenario for a customer.
Proven situational awareness as you will be working closely with other product groups across Microsoft (Directors, Group Managers etc.) You will also work closely with customer leadership, engineers, and system administrators. You will have to be able to adjust your approach to the specific audience.
Deep understanding and experience of the Intelligence and/or Security domain(s), key challenges, priorities, and stakeholders
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with lots of context switching.
Proven initiative and influence with demonstrated ability to solve challenging and complex problems requiring the effort and impact of a diverse cross team.
Experience tailoring processes and governance structures to balance rigor and consistent results while moving fast and driving innovation.
Security Assurance IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
