BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Service Engineer 3 Job for an opportunity at Redmond WA 5 days onsite! Position Title: Service Engineer 3 Location: Redmond WA 5 days onsite Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: Contract of 12 Months Job Type: Contract and Onsite Pay Range: $70 - $75/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Top Skills: * Years of Experience Required - 5-7 years of overall experience in the field * Degrees or certifications required - Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related field * Minimum 4+ years' experience with Azure or AWS * Minimum 2+ years' experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune * Minimum 2 years of experience with PowerShell scripting against Windows and Azure APIs Job Description: Summary: The main function of a Service Engineer is to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized infrastructure including major enhancement of existing systems Job Responsibilities: * Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated compute, storage, and network implementation projects * Gather and analyse system requirements, document specifications, and develop solutions to meet client needs * Analyse and review enhancement requests and specifications * Respond to customer request tickets and bring issues to resolution * Implement system software, automation, policies, and cloud services and customize to client requirements * Prepare the detailed specifications and test plans for existing and new cloud services * Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs * Create migration and redundancy plans for enterprise systems and implement on-prem and in the cloud * Perform post-implementation validation and resolve any bugs found during implantation and sustainment Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related field * 5-7 years of experience required * 4+ years hands-on experience with Azure or AWS * 2+ years hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune * Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting against Windows and Azure APIs * A solid foundation in complex, large scale, enterprise hybrid services and systems * Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting both new and legacy production systems * Experience in programming, scripting, and problem diagnosis and resolution * Demonstrated communication and cross-group collaboration skills * Ability to manage several schedule-critical tasks while delivering results and solutions on time Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
