We are seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to join our talented, diverse team. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA, and requires being onsite.
What you’ll get to do?
The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing and automating creative solutions. Key areas of responsibly include system analysis, design, develop, build, test, implement, and maintain various systems to meet functional objectives of the business. We cover a wide variety of technologies including Jenkins, Fortify, Ansible, Atlassian suite, TeamForge, ASP, Visual Build, Docker, Kubernetes and many more. Candidate will Implement provisioning and deployment techniques via packaging, containerizing or Cloud distribution. Functions with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback. Ensures implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Basic Qualifications:
12 Years with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD
Active TS/SCI at the time of application
Security+ Certification
Experience with Kubernetes, AWS/C2S and Terraform
Experience with Linux and Ansible
Experience with Jira, Jenkins and Git/Version Control Software
Ability to express technical information clearly at different organizational levels
Familiarity with API Security and Container Security
Preferred Qualifications :
Polygraph (CI or FSP)
Experience creating, developing, and implementing solutions to address requirements
Ability to identify needs for automation, designing and implementing of CICD solutions
Experience working with Docker containers
Experience with Agile development
Experience with developing microservices
Excellent technical writing and team building skills
Salary Range: $171,000 - $256,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
