The Opportunity:

As a Document Controller at WSP, you will play a pivotal role in managing and controlling documents during engineering and construction phases, coordinating deliverables, and assisting project managers.

What you can expect to do here:

  • You will be at the forefront of document management and control during the critical phases of engineering and construction.

  • You will take charge of the management and coordination of deliverables, ensuring that all project milestones are met.

  • You will be responsible for the management, filing, and distribution of various project documents, ensuring that all team members have access to the information they need.

  • You will assist project managers in various aspects of project management, providing crucial support to keep our projects running smoothly.

  • You will participate in the application of the unit’s document and quality management requirements, helping to uphold our high standards of work.

  • You will carry out any other related tasks that may assist in the completion of projects, demonstrating your versatility and commitment to the project’s success.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • You have a college diploma in documentation technology or equivalent training, setting a strong foundation for your career.

  • You possess knowledge of document management requirements for public or private clients, and familiarity with the ISO 9001 standard is a plus.

  • You are proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Word and Adobe Acrobat

  • You have experience in documentation, demonstrating your ability to handle document-related tasks.

  • You are bilingual in French and English, which is highly advantageous in our diverse work environment. (Not mandatory, can be only English)

  • You exhibit a sense of initiative, attention to detail, dynamism, and autonomy, making you a valuable addition to our team.

  • You have the ability to work as part of a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective communication.

  • Your experience in consulting engineering or construction management is a valuable asset.

  • You have the ability and ease to learn different computer software, keeping you adaptable in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
