Applied Materials Senior C++ SW Engineer in Rehovot, Israel
We are looking for a SW C/C++ software engineer to join our team in the development and the optimization of high-end image processing software system. Our challenge involves combining cutting-edge solutions with uncompromising data rate demands, reaching several GBps.
What’s in it for you?
You will join a group of Specialists which leads the design and the development of high-end image processing solutions, constantly expanding algorithmic & data rate capabilities of the existing products. Also, you will be involved in the analysis of the existing complex SW, Algo & HW modules as a part of the optimization effort for the existing systems. As a part of the job, you will expand your skills and gain unique knowledge beneficial for self-development.
What you’ll be doing:
Design, develop & integrate massive SW components in next generation Image Processing front-end system.
Learn, analyze & optimize existing SW solutions.
Design optimized SW for concrete image processing algorithms.
Advise on the development methodology targeting performance.
Leverage modern state-of-the-art SW frameworks to support SW optimization efforts.
What should you have?
C++ development experience of at least 3 years – must.
B.Sc. in Computer Science or related technical discipline – must.
SW architecture, system analysis, problem solving & debugging skills, OOP.
Python development experience – strong advantage.
Embedded systems development experience – advantage.
