Job Description Summary

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Role Summary/Purpose

The Service Super Expert Program (SSEP) is GE Healthcare Service’s entry-level technical training program for high potential technical-oriented professionals seeking a fast-paced career, who share with us a passion for technology, and a drive for both technical excellence, innovation and the improvement of business skills. The SSEP experience offers exposure to high-level management and cross-functional interaction in Healthcare Service along with hands-on technical and soft skills development.

Essential Responsibilities

Service Super Expert Program (SSEP) is a challenging one-year pre-assignment and two-year rotational program committed to developing young technical talents through intense technical training & field operations and a variety of business-critical assignments.

Experienced field operation leaders, project leaders/managers will mentor your work and will participate in technical and leadership training. SSEPs should finish the job assignments and meet the evaluation criteria in each rotation. They need to complete technical evaluation defined in the program, as well as the associated homework and projects with required quality rating.

Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English.

  2. Self-motivated, self-confident team play with mature & positive attitude and fast learning ability.

  3. Strong commitment to a career in technical development.

  4. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  5. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  6. Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

  7. Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

  8. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.

  9. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree above

  10. Candidates must have legal working authorization in China for non-Chinese citizens.
