Regional Sales Manager - Genetic Disease (South Germany)

Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager manages the Sales Force operation and team of Account Leads in the dedicated region of Southern Germany (Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Saarland, and parts of Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse) meeting defined targets (sales and KPI’s). He/she contributes to overall profitability by recommending strategies and execute on agreed tactical plans for the dedicated Sales Force. Responsible to support hiring activities within the team, interviewing talent and develop members of the sales force.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Sales Representatives who promote dedicated products, including any subsequent future launches.

  • Performance Management of the Sales Representatives to reach individual and regional sales and activity targets

  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the region

  • Active member of the franchise leadership team and ownership of assigned projects and initiatives

  • Ensure compliance for the area of responsibility

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Experience of pharmaceutical sales more than 5 years

  • Capable of leading a high performance team

  • Coaching skills in selling and territority management

  • Proactive action and ability to work in national and international teams

  • Ability to plan, execute and follow up on sales meetings and promotional events

  • Proactive and significant information management

  • Motivation in finding and developing people

  • Knowledge of health care systems

  • Good English capabilities

  • Entrepreneurial attitude
