Support Services Group Junior Security Administrator in Remote, Dominican Republic
Support Services Group is looking for a Junior Security Administrator to join our team. This role will focus on policy writing, compliance management, and responding to security questionnaires. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cybersecurity, excellent writing skills, and the ability to implement security policies effectively. Experience in BPO environments is a definite plus.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI, HiTrust and SOC through audits and assessments.
Collaborate with teams to address security questionnaire inquiries from clients and partners.
Research emerging security threats and mitigation strategies.
Monitor Security Alerts
Skills and Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in a similar role.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience with policy writing and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI, HiTrust and SOC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong English language skills.
Experience in BPO environments is a plus.
Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISA are advantageous
Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS) is beneficial.
