Job Description Summary
Partner with business leadership to manage branding, product and/or services promotion, and partner with the business to provide functional expertise. Participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Drive customer communications program success in the areas of marketing communications, digital communications & events management. Impacts the team’s ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of objectives. Subject to Commercial policy objectives. Has independence in achieving commercial objectives within operating budgets and operating guidelines. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Develops and manages content and creative for distribution across on and off line channels
Develop clear, creative MarComm strategies, messages and content from complex marketing objectives, team feedback and clinical content.
Lead Marketing Communications plan implementation. Manage outside vendors and budget. Track progress of programs and report results to marketing. Tie programs to key business metrics.
Use influencing skills to drive adoption of new communications approaches and strategies – look to leverage new channels and techniques, and identify unique, attention-getting MarComm strategies to help meet marketing objectives.
Continually evaluate processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and tools designed for both the market and sales force.
Balance and synthesize global and regional needs.
Collaborate with peers to help ensure consistency of approach and integration of best practices.
Integrate GE Public Relations and Internal Communications into planning as appropriate.
Ensure adherence to corporate branding.
Experience working in a regulated industry and ability to align closely with finance, regulatory and legal to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing; or will consider a High School Diploma and a minimum of 14 years' experience in marketing.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in healthcare
Experience with photo/video shoots, planning and editing
Experience in developing digital platforms & organizing online events
Expertise in social media communications. Proven track record in driving Digital Communication programs, Social media listening, Paid Social media activities, monitoring success with KPIs.
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex challenges
Proven track record of delivery to budgets, timelines, and project management skills.
Strong balance of technical and marketing knowledge and skills.
Experience working in and navigating a matrixed environment.
Experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; ability to clearly communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner; ability to deliver messaging effectively verbally and in writing
Experience in developing and managing a Marcom budget, soliciting vendor proposals and cost estimates, and tracking and managing costs with vendors.
English fluency in both written and verbal communications

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, Journalism, Marketing, or IT
12+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising or in digital marketing

In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes
Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
Strong analytical and process skills
Team oriented – ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to engage strategically through implementation
Content marketing and marketing automation experience
Proven ability to navigate and influence at multiple levels within the organization
Healthcare (preferably medical device) product experience and industry acumen
Demonstrated ability to innovate & develop new ideas linked to business KPIs.
People leadership skills including expertise in change management, etc.
Customer-centric and service-oriented attitude.
Omnichannel: Experience with Marketo Campaigns and Lead Management.
Knowledge of office, marketing automation, technical and digital tools, such as Microsoft Office, Marketo, Sitecore or AEM, Google Analytics, Webtrends, Adobe Analytics, SEM Rush, Conductor, Widen, and content management platforms
