About the role
Supporting the finance manager with month end duties including the production of management accounts, as well as managing a team of 2 Finance Assistants.
Key responsibilities
Assist the finance manager with month end duties, including the production of management accounts
Producing and processing journals, including accruals and prepayments
Assisting with intercompany reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Collecting and recording financial information
Line manage a team of 2 finance assistants
Accurate processing and reviewing of a high volume of supplier invoices within payment terms
Accurately reconciling supplier statements
Investigating supplier queries
Chasing supplier invoices and credit notes timely and effectively
Assisting the finance team with customer enquiries
Assisting with supplier payment runs
General Administration duties
Answering phone calls and dealing with enquiries effectively
Skills and experience
Experience of assisting with the production of management accounts
AAT Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage own time and workload
Maths and English GCSE at grade C/4 or above
