Senior Corporate Technology Partner Manager

Location: Home-Based, Canada

Position Summary:

Bentley (BSY) is seeking an experienced partner account manager to join our Ecosystem and Ventures team. This strategic position requires an individual who can manage and enhance our relationships with cloud and geospatial providers, driving co-innovate, co-sell and co-market strategies that align with BSY priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cloud providers and a proven track record in fostering successful partnerships through program management, internal and external coordination leading to successful business outcomes. In this role, you will identify geospatial technologies by performing comprehensive market and ecosystem analysis of ISVs, private startups, and open-source technologies. You will partner with Bentley’s product leaders to put together an overall strategy for industry and ecosystem engagement to enable easy integration of emerging technologies into Bentley’s solutions. You will work with internal stakeholders to articulate the value proposition for these new technologies, facilitate access to partner technology leadership, support the development of technical and product architecture and negotiate the necessary business and commercial agreements for maximum ROI.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with cloud and geospatial provider partnership teams ensuring alignment and cooperation on various projects, marketing and sales initiatives.

  • Support adoption of cloud computing platforms and geospatial technologies as aligned with product and industry strategy.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing and product teams, to craft compelling joint value proposition's and ensure effective governance of the relationship

  • Manage cross-functional teams and projects within BSY and with cloud / geospatial providers to drive new business opportunities

  • Represent BSY at partner related events, conferences, QBRs and more, enhancing BSY brand's presence and visibility

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to guide strategic decision making

  • Manage regular pipeline and business reporting and success metrics, ensuring clear communication of results and achievements to senior leadership. * *

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Minimum Education Requirements: BS/BA Degree or Equivalent in Business, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a combination of business development, sales, product management, or partnership management.

  • Understanding of the geospatial industry a plus.

  • Ideally 3 years of experience managing relationships with such as Google.

  • Demonstrated experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating schedules and timelines

  • Familiarity with technology transformation initiatives

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Experience in strategic planning, commercials agreement negotiations and partnerships a plus.

  • 30% travel required
