Operations and Maintenance Field Specialist I
Washington, DC
Remote Position
EM Key Solutions is seeking an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Field Specialist I to join our team in helping support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides direct support to the BioWatch Director of Field Operations.
Assists with the planning, coordination, and execution of special events.
Assists with integrating new technologies, including deployment and field testing of new technology, retrofitting current equipment, and end-user training.
Performs evaluations of Jurisdictional Field Operations teams and coordinates with the Quality Assurance program to adjudicate audit findings and identify improvements.
Authors, edits, and contributes to the production of acquisition documents, reports, standard operating procedures, briefings, etc.
Interfaces with Jurisdictional Field Operations teams.
Provides technical assistance in reviewing program contracts and agreements at the direction of the Director of Field Operations.
Provides input and assistance for program logistics and equipment sustainment.
Travel up to 25%
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors in Management, Acquisition Logistics, or a technical field related to the organization's mission.
6 years of related acquisition logistics or engineering experience.
Ability to obtain DHS Suitability
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Clearance:
The ability to obtain DHS Suitability. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
