PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $110,900-$135,600 annually. The full Pay Range is $86,100-$160,300 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

The Sr Data Quality Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping BECU’s data quality program, working hand in hand with cross-functional teams to ensure the consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of data. Your expertise will directly influence the implementation of data governance standards, ensuring that your contributions are valued, and your growth is continually fostered.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop and Maintain Data Governance Standards and Procedures : This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list. It’s about making a significant, positive change in BECU’s journey, where your contributions are valued, and your growth is continually fostered.

  • Identify and Manage Data Quality Issues and Improvement Opportunities : Your keen eye for data quality will drive meaningful improvements, ensuring that data integrity remains a top priority at BECU.

  • Define Data Quality Metrics and Business Rules : Chart a course for data quality excellence by defining metrics and business rules that will shape the future of our data management processes.

  • Collaborate and Drive Change : Partner with various teams and stakeholders to drive process changes and implement additional data quality monitoring based on real business requirements.

  • Create and Produce Data Quality Reporting : Provide valuable insights through the creation of scorecards, dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting, ultimately shaping the way we understand and leverage data quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, business, or related field, or equivalent required

  • Minimum five years of direct experience in reporting and analytics within financial services or similar role required

  • Minimum of two years Data Quality tool experience required

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills with a proven track record in gathering and documenting comprehensive business requirements required

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred

  • Seven years or more experience preferred

  • Two years experience using end user reporting tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or SSR) and experience with SQL, or other comparable query language preferred

  • Knowledge and ability to develop and perform data manipulation, data cleansing, data analysis, and data anomalies detection preferred

  • Experience with Ataccama and other professional data quality and data governance tools and leading project teams preferred
