Analyst, Business - Process and Performance
Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for an Analyst, Business - Process and Performance to join our team. This role will play a crucial role in analyzing the data and performance of PV plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), developing reports on a scheduled basis, identifying areas for improvement, and communicating effectively with field teams, asset management, and customers. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.
What will do you as an Analyst, Business - Process and Performance?
Analyze data and performance metrics of utility-scale PV plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Identify performance improvements and communicate issues to asset management and field teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and facilitate site optimizations plans.
Manage and develop performance calculations for energy modeling, availability calculations, and performance metric summaries.
Develop comprehensive performance reports to summarize yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily performance of assets.
Identifying loss factors and estimated production improvements for corrective maintenance activities.
Work with operators, and field staff in finding and triaging performance issues, make recommendations to perform corrective maintenance based on calculated ROIs for the owner.
Perform analysis using dedicated software tools (SCADA, Envision Analytics), deliver and follow up with recommendations to the asset managers and field teams
Present performance reports and evaluations to customers, addressing any performance-related questions or requests.
Gather information from multiple sources to develop a clear picture of performance related impacts and outages.
Consolidate and communicate information to customers in a clear and understandable manner.

Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for:
Knowledge of the Renewable Energy industry. Ideally with experience working with utility scale generators connected to distribution and/or transmission systems in North America.
Post-secondary degree in a related field. (Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Etc.)
Strong MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel.
Ability to visualize data and work with large data sets.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to consolidate and concisely summarize complex information.
Ability to work independently and in team settings with equal effectiveness.
