The Global Market Intelligence Manager is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data for the Global Strategic Marketing team to make data-driven decisions. Reporting to the Director, Global Strategic Marketing, this role will partner with business stakeholders to deliver solutions that support key processes across the team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop reporting to track and monitor market, customer and competitive landscape, including emerging trends, leading internal and external data gathering and analysis.

  • Monitors data and analytics trends and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Maintain repository of competitive intel across all technologies, distribute competitive briefs (as necessary) and maintain competitive roadmap.

  • Leverage internal data analysis tools such as tableau and MS Excel to build queries and offer business insights.

  • Completes day-to-day deliverables and ad-hoc data reports to support business needs and projects and answer all data related questions

  • Supports the annual strategic planning activies to support the technology and innovation businesses to enable data-driven decisions.

  • Interprets, analyzes, and provides insights to teams and managers to determine trends and opportunities.

  • Evaluate, iterate, and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track performance.

  • Summarize key finding and insights for stakeholders in a compelling, intuitive, and digestible way.

  • Perform data validation as necessary to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Shared Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support development of business opportunities, project charters, for technology and innovations new product innovation (NPI) programs.

  • Review and develop business cases for technology and data solutions new product innovation (NPI) projects.

  • Partner with product management teams to build and maintain market models in support of business case generation and strategic planning activities.

  • Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams.

Education/Experience Requi r ements

  • B.A. /B.S. in marketing, other relevant 4 year degree. MBA preferred

  • At least 5 years of experience as analyst or specialist in marketing support role or equivalent experience working with analysis tools required.

  • Experience in both marketing and business analysis is preferred.

  • Global marketing experience preferred.

  • Experience in technology is preferred.

  • Experience in an orthopedics market preferred.
