We are currently seeking a Procurement Program Manager to join our Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector .
Performance Objectives
The Procurement Program Manager will oversee fulfillment of the department goals, process improvement efforts, while supporting the purchasing and procurement organization
Manage scale-up of Procurement program, coordinating program strategy, project delegation, and implementation with a variety of internal stakeholders
Responsible for forming, iterating, maintaining and executing Procurement, purchasing, supplier management, and contract policies and procedures
Break down complex problems with unclear answers and conflicting data, into simple, innovative solutions with clear, measurable implementation plans
Continuously review and evaluate Procurement policies and processes for further improvements and make recommendations where appropriate
Lead multiple efforts simultaneously with well-documented and organized project management methodologies to problem solve and support organizational and Procurement objectives
Provide continuous feedback to Procurement and management teams regarding performance of the program
Competitive Candidate Profile
5+ years of program management experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Demonstrated knowledge in Procurement or purchasing with a proven ability to lead change
Equipped with understanding of Procurement management, the ability to build systematic processes, and comprehensive awareness of Procurement risk control
Familiarity with standard Procurement and purchasing processes, policies, tools and techniques, with the capacity to support organizational change
Ability to steer teams, including cross-functional teams, from formulation of policies and process through successful implementation of improvements
Ability to collaborate comfortably with a variety of key partners – Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, IT, Product Development, and beyond
