Ascension is seeking a Senior Director of Design Research and Product Analytics to lead the Digital Insights and Outcomes practice within our Growth Marketing and Digital Experience (GMDx) team. This role will be accountable for leading all aspects of the Design Research and Digital Product Analytics functions, including people management, discipline operations, and the quality of the team’s work product, all in service of informing digital product design, roadmaps and maximizing the probability of achieving desired KPIs and outcomes.

Ascension, one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the United States, has a Mission of sustaining and improving the health of all individuals and communities through spiritually centered, holistic care. The organization established GMDx to support this Mission by elevating awareness of and ensuring access to its healthcare services. The department includes marketing, digital product, digital engineering, design, and research capabilities, working collaboratively and leveraging a wide variety of digital technologies to pursue those objectives.

Having an outcomes orientation and leveraging mixed methods research are core to the department’s ways of working. The Senior Director of Design Research and Product Analytics will serve as a key leader in advancing these behaviors across our teams through advocacy, strategy, and enablement. The Digital Insights and Outcomes team will collaborate with department and product leadership to proactively identify opportunities to advance strategic objectives and KPIs, drawing upon industry and organizational data, product analytics, and research insights.
