GE Healthcare Data Visualization Architect in Remote, Wisconsin

Job Description Summary

As a Data Visualization Architect, you will develop innovative data visualization solutions to support a broad range of data centric analytical applications. This includes a range of BI (Descriptive Solutions) and BA (Advanced Analytics Solutions), and associated development, deployment, and training activities leveraging leading edge toolsets.

This is a remote role where you will work out of your home office.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop BI/BA Applications utilizing advanced data visualization techniques.

  • Leverage Modern BI Architecture and emerging technologies in the web/mobile space to deliver new capabilities and value for business users and end customers.

  • Quickly prototypes and iterates on ideas.

  • Act as a key member of the Enterprise Data Management team, providing input into group strategy, motivation, and development.

  • Analyze design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

  • Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support actives.

Business Acumen:

  • Delivers results when working on shorter-term (weeks-months), outcome-focused service engagements.

  • Leverages knowledge about competitors, trends, and changing regulations across the broad environment to bring new ideas to the team.

  • Articulates the value proposition of existing technology capabilities and maps them to customer requirements to minimize incremental cost of development.

Leadership:

  • Uses teamwork skills to understand vision, achieve goals, solve problems, and manage conflict. Identifies individual differences.

  • Informs engineering and other stakeholders of key customer issues, identifies potential problems or conflicts and resolves them when necessary.

  • Produces functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analytics.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Power BI tool.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Java Script, Python, SQL, DAX, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expert with Power BI tool (preferably 5+ years).

  • Experience with Power BI Power Apps.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that include presentation skills/experience to an executive audience.

  • Business / Functional understanding in 1 or more core business processes – Record 2.

  • Report (Finance), Procure to Pay (Purchasing, Accounts Payable), Order 2 Cash (Sales & Distribution, Accounts Receivable), Customs & Trade.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $119,520.00-$179,280.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
