SAIC UML Internship in REMOTE WORK, Massachusetts
Description
SAIC is sponsoring a professional internship designed to provide on-the-job training and experience to students. This internship is offered to recent UMASS Lowell - UML college students/graduates to enable interns to gain knowledge, skills and abilities to perform at a professional level. The SAIC Air Force Cloud One Program is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized IT infrastructure that hosts mission systems, applications, services, and data in support of DoD Services and Agencies. Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and DevSecOps principles to provide common services and facilitate cloud application migrations to IL-4, IL-5, IL-6 (NIPRNet) cloud environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides entry to intermediate-level professional services, under supervision of professional staff and/or faculty personnel, as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the unit.
Undertakes and/or participates in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization.
Participates in the planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
Interacts directly with colleagues, clientele, and/or other internal or external customers.
Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
UMASS Lowell student or recent graduate
Available June 13th - August 2nd
No clearance required to start; ability to obtain a Secret clearance required.
US citizenship required
Target salary range: Up to $25,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
