Requisition Summary Responsible for providing guidance to AP Researchers and AP Support with their daily responsibilities. This position will support suppliers and internal departments with inquiries and requests. Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. As a U.S. Salaried PACCAR employee, you have a full range of benefit options including: * Medical, Dental and Vision plan options * Flexible spending accounts and health savings account * 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 5% * Fully funded pension plan that provides monthly benefits after retirement * 12 paid holidays, sick and vacation time * Tuition reimbursement program * Paid short-and long-term disability program * Life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance * EAP services including wellness plans, estate planning, financial counseling and more Job Functions / Responsibilities * Provide direction to AP Researchers and AP Support with managing their daily responsibilities and resolving outstanding vendor-related issues. * Prepare assigned monthly journal entries on a timely basis and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) * Prepare monthly reconciliations * Process warehouse return requests * Clear aged DSP orders * Train new AP Researchers and AP Support * Monitor and distribute work daily from shared email AP inboxes * Support Suppliers with access, updating, and training of Mize * Respond to inquiries regarding supplier and dealer invoices * Assist as backup to AP Lead and AP Researchers in their absence * Understand the relationship of operational and financial systems and develops reports in SAP, Excel, Access and SQL * Support internal and external audit requests * Perform other duties, accounting functions, and special projects as assigned Qualifications* High School Diploma * Two- or four- year degree preferred * 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility. * Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail with a "big picture" focus. * Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects. * Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and self-motivated. * Requires strong PC skills with Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint. * Experience with AS400 and SAP preferred.
