Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Renton, Washington
Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team based in Renton, Washington. This role is crucial in the finance and accounting industry, focusing on managing customer deductions and maintaining accurate records. The position is an on-site role offering a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Processing customer deductions and short pays, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Keeping a detailed record of customer transactions and updating these records regularly.
• Using Excel to track deductions and for data entry tasks.
• Pulling data from customer statements for processing and analysis.
• Working with our software, GP MS Dynamics, and MS Excel to manage and analyze data.
• Utilizing your problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries.
• Ensuring organization in managing customer accounts and data.
• Handling manual work such as matching statements with amounts.
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action based on account status.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure all accounting tasks are completed efficiently. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrable experience in Billing
• Proficient with Cash Applications and Cash Collections
• Prior experience in Commercial Collections
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrable experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Dynamics GP
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
