CTG is looking for aTechnical Project Managerfor our Fortune 100 client in RTP, NC. This is a permanent placement position.
This role will oversee multiple projects for this account relating to Installation, Professional, Managed and Maintenance Services. This position will also perform a consulting/trusted advisor role with a focus on expanding our footprint in the account. Applicant should have demonstrated ability to multi-task and look across our Service offerings to strategically enhance our position with the Client. This account oversight will also include developing, maintaining and reporting on KPI’s geared toward continuous improvement of client satisfaction and internal key indicators of success. Candidates should have expertise in translating client requirements into solutions driven by detailed project plans via the use of Project Management disciplines and will be expected to chair internal and client facing projects reviews at regular intervals. Given the customer facing nature of this role, up to 50% travel is expected.
Leads team for a large, complex client requiring a broad scope of domain and discipline knowledge, with signiﬁcant customer interaction.
Develops and manages plans across projects and resources. Manages project and task assignments and conducts team/client meetings.
Communicates status internally and with client.
Manages Project Charters, Project Plans and KPI’s.
Monitors and controls client projects and drives internal teams to manage day-to-day activities. Ensures client issues and complaints are managed to resolution.
Manages Change Control.
Manages cost/schedule/resource variances.
Interfaces with internal and external teams to ensure alignment of deliverables.
Ensures client expectations are met/exceeded.
Collaborates with Partners on sales pursuits, including customer-facing presentations and demos, projects & resource planning, and estimates/budgeting.
Provides content for and/or reviews contracts (SOWs, Change Authorizations).
Hosts internal and client facing knowledge-sharing sessions. Builds content for internal and external consumption.
Identiﬁes and documents new client opportunities and strategies.
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or equivalent combination.
8+ years of Project or Program Management experience, with 5+ years’ experience in retail industry, particularly store operations.
Experience in creating KPI’s, customer proposals and strong customer presentation skills
Ability to work within a project team environment where results will be based on cooperation with and/or inﬂuence of others
Proﬁcient in Project Management tracking and MS Oﬃce Tools
Results driven with a focus on project success, revenue and costs - P&L responsibilities
Strong written and oral communication skills with all levels of management, clients and employees
Ability to anticipate problems with a strong sense of urgency for driving issues to closure
Meets deadlines, strong work ethic and produces high quality work
Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and assignments
Strong relationship building skills
Experience gathering and documenting client requirements
Customer facing experience
Services and/or Retail background
Strong interpersonal skills are critical in this customer-facing role
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group is required.
