Partner Marketing Advisor – Security ISV

The Partner Marketing Advisor-Partner Aligned (PMA-P) role is key to Microsoft's partner management strategy as part of the Global Partner Solutions Go To Market organization in the US. This specific PMA-P role is responsible for growing the business of top Microsoft ISVs for Security solutions through planning, executing, and landing impactful powerful Go-To-Market (GTM) campaigns aligned to Sales Plays.

Responsibilities

  • Build jointly drafted Security Sales Play, industry execution Go To Market plans that meets both the Partner and Microsoft business priorities, in alignment with expected business outcomes

  • Stretch beyond Security as a solution area and work 1:1 with key select X Industry partners be able to represent Microsoft partnership across all solution areas in this scenario

  • Execute Security Sales Plays and Industry GTM plans and campaigns by leveraging global and local engines, achieve targets ensuring intended impact on scorecard attainment – make impact visible to stakeholders

  • Identify and assign local and global budget to GTM Security Sales play and mapped to top ISV Partners.

  • Leverage global and local investment programs to drive marketing executions through standardized GTM services

  • Completion of GTM plans in alignment with PMA-S, PMA-I and PDM, in alignment with expected business outcomes

  • Contribute to co-sell, consumption and partner wins by dedicating time generating qualified leads from creating and executing strategic customer facing GTM campaigns for assign priority partners.

  • Track # leads resulting from GTM campaign deliverables, including but not limited to assessments and customer events

  • Achieve # leads according to targets ensuring intended impact on scorecard attainment.

  • Lead with operational excellence including budget management and ROI measurement on partner campaigns

Qualifications

Requireed Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product or channel marketing, partner channel development, business development, alliance management, through partner marketing in the technology industry

  • Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and lead qualification

  • Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency

  • Extensive experience of managing virtual teams across functions

  • Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment

  • Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills

  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills

  • Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners.

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Sales, Marketing, Business Operations); MBA desired.
