Noblis Software Developer/ Business Analyst (Hybrid) in Reston, Virginia

Responsibilities

Noblis isseekinga highly motivated and results drivenSoftwareDeveloper/BusinessAnalystto join our TechnologyShared Services team based out of our headquarters in Reston, Virginia. TheSoftwareDeveloper/BusinessAnalystwill work closely with technical and functional team members on evaluation and implementation and maintenance of various COTS products and SaaS applications. An ideal candidate willexhibitproblem-solving and critical thinking qualities, has a self-starter mindset when taking on new challenges in a dynamic enterprise environment, can work independently and collaborate with team members and partner with Finance, Procurement and Contract teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply accounting, finance, or procurement knowledge, combined with technical skills to perform implement/maintain/customize ERP systems.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to quickly discern the most relevant facts and recommend the quickest, most practical, and safest approach to resolving an issue with a program or database.

  • Responsible for writing complex SQL queries toidentifyand fix data issues.

  • Performdata analysis using reportingsoftwarepackages Cognos BI, Power BI.

  • Performgap analysis between user requirements and standard COTS/SaaS functionality and document/recommend solutions.

  • Contributes knowledge & solutionrecommendations andis an active member of AGILE management & problemsolving.

  • Responsible for configuration and customization of COTS/SaaS applications.

  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities with large corporate systems.

  • Work with functional users on use and maintenance of various ERPsoftwarepackages.

  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service to our Internal users and meeting assigned deliverables for assigned projects.

  • Perform implementation tasks in adherence toestablishedcontrols/procedures; may conduct research and analysis to resolve issues or develop new processes and procedures.

  • Develop and execute test plans for allsoftwarechanges, including testing custom code and vendor upgrades.

  • Develop and test interfaces between variousCOTS/SaaS applications.

  • Support business units by researching issues and questions todetermineroot cause,identifycourse of action and bring issue/question to resolution.

This is a Hybrid position; Ability to come in to the office once or twice a month.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree with 1 year of related experience OR Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience OR Associate's degree with 6 years of related experience; Relevant technical experience in software development is required in combination with degree.

  • Degrees must be in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.

  • Experience inusingSQL Server stored procedures and APIs.

  • Demonstrate experience learning new technical skills, technologies, and frameworks.

  • Demonstrate experience with analyzing business flows, data models, and underlying technical architecture of ERP Financial, Procurement and Contract applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Must be familiar with Agilemethodology.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with any of the following applications is highly desirable: UKG, ICIMS, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Power Apps.

  • Proficient in SQL Server2016or later, T-SQL,Power BI.

  • DeltekCostpoint experience a plus.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

USD $74,500.00 - USD $130,400.00 /Yr.
