Noblis Software Developer/ Business Analyst in Reston, Virginia
Responsibilities
Noblis is seeking a highly motivated and results driven Software Developer/ Business Analyst to join our Technology Shared Services team based out of our headquarters in Reston, Virginia. The Software Developer/ Business Analyst will work closely with technical and functional team members on evaluation and implementation and maintenance of various SaaS applications and COTS products. An ideal candidate will exhibit problem-solving and critical thinking qualities, has a self-starter mindset when taking on new challenges in a dynamic enterprise environment, can work independently and collaborate with team members and partner with user teams.
Responsibilities:
Apply IT service delivery knowledge, combined with technical skills to perform implement/maintain/customize application systems.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to quickly discern the most relevant facts and recommend the quickest, most practical, and safest approach to resolving an issue with a program or system.
Perform data analysis using reporting software packages Cognos BI, Power BI.
Perform gap analysis between user requirements and standard Saas/COTS functionality and document/recommend solutions.
Contributes knowledge & solution recommendations and is an active member of AGILE management & problem solving.
Responsible for configuration and customization of Saas/COTS applications.
Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities with large corporate systems.
Work with functional users on use and maintenance of various software packages.
Responsible for providing excellent customer service to our Internal users and meeting assigned deliverables for assigned projects.
Perform implementation tasks in adherence to established controls/procedures; may conduct research and analysis to resolve issues or develop new processes and procedures.
Develop and execute test plans for all software changes, including testing custom code and vendor upgrades.
Develop and test interfaces between various SaaS/COTS applications.
Support business units by researching issues and questions to determine root cause, identify course of action and bring issue/question to resolution.
This is a Hybrid position; Ability to come into the office once or twice a month.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience
Degrees must be in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
Experience in using SQL Server stored procedures and APIs.
Demonstrate experience learning new technical skills, technologies, and frameworks.
Demonstrate experience with analyzing business flows, data models, and underlying technical architecture of hosting applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Must be familiar with Agile methodology.
US Person status - Permanent Resident or US Citizen
Desired Qualifications
Experience with any of the following applications is highly desirable: ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft Power Apps, UKG, ICIMS.
Proficient in SQL Server 2016 or later, T-SQL, Power BI.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
Posted Salary Range
USD $61,600.00 - USD $96,250.00 /Yr.
