nVent Automation Engineer in Reynosa, Mexico

What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
Support several manufacturing processes to ensure equipment uptime, meet production goals and maintain high product quality
Lead Automation projects to improve productivity, reduce costs, improve quality and achieve on time delivery to meet production needs
Lead new equipment financial justifications, installations, process modifications and improvements
Interface with maintenance and operators to fix equipment problems
Coordinate with Product Development to successfully launch new products into high-volume manufacturing
Champion Lean Manufacturing across the plant through cross-functional events and continuous improvement projects.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred
Ideally 5+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or related discipline
Familiar with statistical methods, 6-sigma and Lean Manufacturing
Proficient English
Knowledge on Control and PLC Set Up Programming
Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
Proficient use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
Proficient use of ABB software
Experience in sheet metal processes
Experience with AutoCAD
Lean manufacturing background and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
