Aerotek Controls Service Technician in Richland, Washington

Description:

Seeking control service technician to join in building and servicing automation, data, and critical centers.

  • Perform checkout, start-up and testing of BMS DDC controllers serving a wide variety of mechanical systems in Data Centers and other critical environments.

  • Communicate with and provide daily updates and status reports to both the Project Lead and Project Manager

  • Coordinate with and communicate directly to the customer and other contractors in a professional manner.

  • Document project status and participate in the creation and accuracy of close-out documents

  • Write and follow detailed Method of Procedure (MOP), Change Management (CM) forms and process.

  • Perform BMS commissioning, including Pre-functional, Functional, and Integrated Systems Testing processes, both individually, and with 3rd-Party/Customer commissioning agents

  • Perform periodic Maintenance and Service of existing BMS systems in an active Data Center environment

  • Support multiple concurrent projects in the Eastern Oregon and Washington areas.

  • Work to be performed in a high-security environment, following customer security policies and procedures

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • A strong understanding of computer operating systems and computer networking is required.

  • Experience with AutoDesk AutoCAD and/or MS Visio and/or Bluebeam Revu preferred

  • Local travel required to Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington areas, with occasional overnight travel
