Aerotek Controls Service Technician in Richland, Washington
Description:
Seeking control service technician to join in building and servicing automation, data, and critical centers.
Perform checkout, start-up and testing of BMS DDC controllers serving a wide variety of mechanical systems in Data Centers and other critical environments.
Communicate with and provide daily updates and status reports to both the Project Lead and Project Manager
Coordinate with and communicate directly to the customer and other contractors in a professional manner.
Document project status and participate in the creation and accuracy of close-out documents
Write and follow detailed Method of Procedure (MOP), Change Management (CM) forms and process.
Perform BMS commissioning, including Pre-functional, Functional, and Integrated Systems Testing processes, both individually, and with 3rd-Party/Customer commissioning agents
Perform periodic Maintenance and Service of existing BMS systems in an active Data Center environment
Support multiple concurrent projects in the Eastern Oregon and Washington areas.
Work to be performed in a high-security environment, following customer security policies and procedures

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
A strong understanding of computer operating systems and computer networking is required.
Experience with AutoDesk AutoCAD and/or MS Visio and/or Bluebeam Revu preferred
Local travel required to Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington areas, with occasional overnight travel
