Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Cyber Security Co-Op in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
This position will support Navarro-ATL’s Information Resource Management organization complete cyber security-related activities. Work with project organizations to complete the system operational technology inventories. Work with the Communications organization to develop and implement communications and educational products related to cyber security topics.
Responsibilities:
Complete system operational technology inventories.
Develop communication products to implement the Cyber Security Communications Plan.
Develop educational products for personnel with cyber security-related roles.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Instrumentation Technology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, SharePoint software
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience reporting metrics
Experience developing presentations
Coursework in:
Cyber Security
Information Technology
Instrumentation Technology

Compensation:
Sophomore: $22.26/hr
Junior: $25.93/hr
Senior: $29.72/hr
Post Grad: $33.39/hr
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
In accordance with the Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc (Navarro) salary determination process, Navarro takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market.
