We are seeking an Operational Research Analyst II Energy Hybrid/Remote. This hybrid/remote position is based out of our Richland, WA office.**

How will you contribute to the team?
As part of the Digital and Advanced Analytics team, develops, verifies, validates, and maintains digital tools including discrete event simulation models to address a wide range of performance issues in existing and new, first-of-a-kind nuclear facilities
Facilitates multi discipline workshops to identify modeling needs and model input requirements
Analyzes trends and model results to predict facility performance and identify key operational risks and bottleneck areas
Works with stakeholders to minimize/eliminate risks, identify improvements and optimize overall plant performance
Participates as required in business development by producing material for bid and proposal documents explaining our OR modeling capabilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
What will you contribute?
Bachelor's degree required in Mathematics, Statistics Science, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Process Engineering, Operational Research, Production Engineering or Management Science.
A minimum of 10 years' experience supporting nuclear projects.
Experience in mathematical modeling, discrete event simulation and digital twin modeling preferred.
Experience using Witness, Arena, Simul8, AnyLogic, Simio software or similar.
Data manipulation and analysis experience using Excel, Tableau, Power Bi, Access, Visual Basic, MATLAB, R or SQL.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to critically review work produced by the Operational Research team and provide technical guidance, feedback, mentorship and perform required quality control functions.
Self-starter who can work in a team environment with minimal direction and supervision.
Applies experience and judgment with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
Familiarity with stochastic simulation tools such as the WITNESS suite of modeling software (or similar such as SUMUL8, ARENA, QUEST, AnyLogic, Simio etc.)
