Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Coordinator position will be responsible for staff oversight, budget management, stakeholder communication, strategic planning, safety compliance, and support program implementation. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $31.82 - $47.73

Responsibilities:
- Oversee small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, scheduling, and budgetary constraints.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff involved in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely resolution of issues.
- Develop project budgets, track costs versus budget, and take proactive measures to address any deviations, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, engineers, vendors, and management to ensure alignment of project goals, progress updates, and timely resolution of any concerns or conflicts.
- Develop and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain long-range strategies for assigned projects, identifying potential risks and opportunities to optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various stakeholders, including senior management, providing comprehensive updates on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with industrial and nuclear safety regulations, ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) planning, and other relevant safety protocols throughout project implementation.
- Prioritize work assignments, allocate resources effectively, and resolve schedule delays or conflicts to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
- Support the effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program, as well as outage support activities, including coordination with the Operations Control Center (OCC).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND 1 year of experience in a technical field
- OR Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 3 years' experience in a technical field
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years' experience in a technical field.
- Project Management Certification is a plus.
- Construction Management Certification is a plus.
- Nuclear experience is highly desired but not required.
- Basic project management techniques.
- Basic core values as related to human performance, cost-effective work execution.
- Basic use of computer software tools (MS Office).
