Job Responsibilities/Duties
The Property & Materials Management Specialist at Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) provides support for the Tank Farms Spare Parts Program, by assisting in the administration and use of Spare Parts for the Tank Farms. Have good working knowledge of Asset Suite. This position will develop and assist engineering in the establishment of critical material needed for the continued operations of the Tank Farms. Provide oversight and ensure compliance with Material Asset Management systems. Will conduct walk downs for inventory validations and Assessments. This position will investigate, analyze and determine solutions for problems in Spare Parts inventory, such as: Spares Storage Requests, Loss/Damage/Destruction Reports, Quality Assurance Inspection Plans (QAIPs), Excess/Disposal of Spare Parts, Spare Parts Usage Statistics. Will also provide support for other management directed activities.
Maintain and administer Spare Parts for the Tank Farms;
Investigate, analyze and determine solutions to inventory problems;
Provide tracking and trending reports;
Conduct assessments for inventory accuracy and verification;
Maintain knowledge of safety policies and procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner;
Maintain an expert knowledge of all applicable federal Law/requirements and WRPS contract pertaining to real and personal property and materials;
Ensure accurate record keeping and maintain records in accordance with applicable Records Inventory and Disposition Schedules (RIDS); and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Grade 17:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering, Accounting or in related field; and 6-7 years of practical work experience in property and asset management and control or related areas, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
Grade 18:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering, Accounting or in related field; and 8 years of practical work experience in property and asset management and control or related areas, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in WRPS computer programs such as, but not limited to, Asset Suite,
Integrated Document Management System and Integrated Contractor Assurance System.
Degree in Engineering or related preferred.
Must possess strong communication skills and be able to communicate with personnel, management and support organizations.
Ability to analyze a situation and determine the best course of action.

Compensation & Benefits
Grade 17:
Hiring Range Minimum: $94,650
Hiring Range Maximum: $119,250
Grade 18:
Hiring Range Minimum: $104,175
Hiring Range Maximum: $131,425

In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, WRPS takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
