Role Summary:

The Salesforce Team Leader will be responsible to lead and manage a small team of Salesforce resources who help to build and maintain our Salesforce environment. The role will also provide leadership for the day-to-day operations of the team, such as ensuring that each resource is assigned work for a sprint, working to mentor/coach the resources on the team, and ensuring work gets completed accurately and on time. This person will also be assigned internal team projects to execute and deliver on.

 

The Salesforce Team Leader position has the ability to work fully remote from Washington, Oregon or Idaho.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Provide technical leadership and support to their Salesforce team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects.
  2. Work with product owners and stake holders to understand the request and work with the development team to design, build, and test out tasks and solutions.
  3. Analyze and improve the efficiency of the Salesforce platform.
  4. Work with the Information Security team to maintain and own the security of our Salesforce environments.
  5. Ensure upgrades are planned and completed, maintaining compliance with standards and control procedures.
  6. Proactively monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to implement new technologies and solutions.
  7. Lead and manage work with external vendors and consultants on projects and integrations.
  8. Build, develop and maintain vendor relationships vital to the success of products.
  9. Attend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars as approved by supervisor. Maintain awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities. Will attend at least 1 technical conference per year.
  10. Manage a hybrid team of 3-5 Salesforce resources, both in person, remote and oversees.
  11. Ensure that work delivered for their team is completed accurately and on-time.
  12. Assist in the creation and maintenance of Salesforce Design Documents, Operations policies, and coding standards.
  13. Develop custom flows and classes within the Salesforce environment.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with webservices and Web API.  

Must be familiar with modern programming languages and how they work.
