Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Richmond Hill, New York
Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the construction industry located in Richmond Hill, New York. This role involves managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining records in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions
• Maintain customer credit records with high precision
• Use accounting software systems to manage and organize data
• Handle account coding tasks as required
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for various financial operations
• Contribute to the management of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Perform various accounting functions as needed
• Adhere to accrual accounting standards
• Conduct auditing tasks to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions effectively. Requirements
• Proficiency in account coding is required for accurate record keeping
• Must be well-versed in operating accounting software systems for efficient data entry and financial reporting
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct is required
• Experience with Concur is needed for managing expenses and invoices
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for coordinating business processes and functions
• Must be comfortable performing diverse accounting functions to support financial operations
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary for managing outgoing payments
• Knowledge of accrual accounting is essential for recognizing revenues and expenses
• Auditing skills are required for ensuring the accuracy and legality of financial records
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is necessary for handling electronic payments and collections.
