Shipping Associate
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various shipping tasks, including packing, labeling, and inspecting products, as well as loading and unloading trucks. This role involves working with UPS/FedEx shipping systems and LTL shipping.
Responsibilities
Handle UPS/FedEx shipping processes
Pack and label products for shipping
Inspect products before shipping, including verifying height and conducting visual inspections
Load and unload trucks
Process shipments using 3PL portals
Verify BOLs and orders
Perform cycle counts and inventory control tasks
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
Essential Skills
Experience in warehouse shipping and receiving
Proficiency in using UPS/FedEx shipping systems
Knowledge of inventory management and control
Ability to operate forklifts
Skill in order picking, packing, and material handling
Familiarity with RF scanners
General labor skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift certification (nice to have)
Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx shipping systems
