JOB SUMMARY: Provides administrative support to department, public and other departments to ensure effective, efficient and productive workflow. Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists law enforcement agencies with the proper procedures for filing cases. Provides assistance and/or routes all incoming calls to the proper destination. Prepares legal paperwork for court proceedings and file legal documents with the County and District Clerks Offices. Performs legal research to input cases and related data into computer. Scans documents into database and prepares reports from same data. Monitors database information system. Assists and instructs other employees with their duties. Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED. Three years job-related experience. Strong computer and typing skills (minimum 40 wpm). Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office/Word. Ability to interact effectively with other employees and the public and strong verbal skills.

SALARY RANGE: $17.60 - $22.00 hourly based on qualifications.
