The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD).

JOB SUMMARY :

Provides coordination of all phases and activities associated with university or community programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Coordinates activities of specified project or program in support of project aims, goals, or objectives.

  • Consults with committee or leadership to plan procedures.

  • Gathers data for review and analysis of program design and outcomes.

  • Assigns duties, trains, and monitors progress of those assisting with project.

  • Interprets program and services to individuals or groups in community.

  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure established for department.

  • Performs related duties as required.

EQUIPMENT :

Standard office equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Standard office environment. May be located within the confines of a prison, jail or juvenile detention center. Security clearance is required; pre-employment drug testing is also required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

  • Associate's degree or equivalent.

  • One (1) year related experience.

Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
