Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Richmond, Virginia. This role is instrumental in the maintenance and organization of financial data. The successful candidate will be tasked with various responsibilities including QuickBooks cleanup, reconciliation of invoice information, and data entry.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with QuickBooks cleanup and maintaining organized records
• Reconciling invoice information to ensure accurate financial records
• Scanning and attaching relevant documentation to maintain a comprehensive record system
• Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Billing to manage financial transactions
• Conducting data entry tasks with precision and accuracy
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Working with Oracle and SAP to manage financial data
• Processing invoices efficiently and accurate
Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of billing procedures
• Familiarity with data entry tasks
• Skills in invoice processing
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle software
• Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
• Experience with SAP software
• Ability to adhere to accounting best practices
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex accounting data
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
