Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Richmond, Virginia

Description We are offering a contract opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Richmond, Virginia area. The role will primarily involve assisting with receptionist duties, helping maintain project managers' schedules, and ensuring that paperwork, customer information, and deadlines are managed effectively. You will be joining a team within the industry and will need to adapt quickly to our fast-paced, dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with receptionist duties, including answering multi-line phone systems and handling customer inquiries

• Help project managers maintain their schedules and ensure that all paperwork, customer information, and deadlines are in order

• Perform daily filing tasks to keep all documents up to date and organized

• Scan documents as needed, ensuring they are saved and filed in the correct location

• Enter data into our systems accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up to date and correct

• Maintain document control, ensuring all documents are stored correctly and can be accessed when needed

• Respond to any queries regarding customer information and deadlines, providing accurate and timely information

• Assist in resolving any issues or problems that may arise, working effectively as part of our team

• Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner, adhering to all deadlines set by project managers

• Handle any other administrative tasks as needed, helping our team operate as efficiently as possible. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role

• Proficiency in performing data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Strong skills in filing and document control

• Experienced in scanning documents and maintaining digital and physical records

• Proficient in answering and managing a multi-line phone system

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other office productivity tools

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team setting

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or certifications are a plus.
