Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Richmond, Virginia
Aerotek is hiring Maintenance Techs in the Midlothian, VA area!
Description:
Responsible for performing daily maintenance and repairs of production equipment in the facility to ensure all equipment is operating at full production capacity.
Essential Duties: Include but are not limited to the following:
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain support and manufacturing equipment and machinery; to include mixers, conveyors, gas fired ovens, boilers, sealers, label printer
•Mechanical - working on gears, drives, & conveyors
• Electrical - troubleshooting, changing out drives & going through the parameters;
•Perform preventive and corrective maintenance accurately and timely;
•Analyze test results, error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and recommend equipment repairs;
•Perform lockout/tag out procedures as needed to secure equipment according to guidelines;
•Help to ensure equipment, fire and electrical safety procedures are being adhered to during walk through of plant

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Around 3-4 years’ experience performing maintenance functions in a manufacturing facility required.
Knowledge of electrical and machine control
Any prior experience with TIG welding stainless and aluminum or refrigeration and HVAC
Work EnvironmentBakery: dealing with food so you'll need to be able to be comfortable in hot/cold environments as well as wet/dry environments
Diverse work environment and must be able to work alongside other employees/operators that speak various languages
Shift: 11p to 7:30a Mon-Fri evening (need to be a LITTLE flexible here)
Pay: $26-29/hr.
