Job Description
This role is a Senior Principal Analytics Program Manager - Cloud Infrastructure , part of the Central Strategy team within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team. This role will help drive optimization, utilization, demand, customer growth, and operations of OCI’s region portfolio, helping to drive growth in the Oracle Cloud business. This team helps steer the ship, drive strategy to execution through systemic planning, analytics, due diligence, and business operations execution. The team is growing, and we need strong contributors to be part of it.
This is a highly visible role where you will own execution and data governance across the demand and capacity planning functions of OCI. You will work with a diverse set of team members including senior executives, architects, financial teams, product managers, development and design teams, and external partners to take ideas, turn them into mature processes, allowing us to aid the world’s most fast paced customers.
The successful candidate loves data, puzzles, and process. You’ll has a passion for solving difficult and often ambiguous problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, an interest in creativity and innovative thinking, can lead a conversation in a room with any level of staff, influence customers to arrive at the correct outcomes, and finally has a strong sense of emotional intelligence for both customers and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Technical and analytical leadership
Influence decision-making by empowering stakeholders with scalable analytical tools and frameworks, improving the speed and quality of data-driven insights and recommendations
Own and drive technical and analytical solutions that optimize supply and demand planning and overall business operations; including:
Identify highest leverage technical opportunities that will scale impact across teams and functions, advocate for productionalization with engineering commitments, and TPM through the development lifecycles.
Take a hands-on approach when needed; for example, translating planning needs/logic into requirements documentation and prototyping.
Partner with stakeholders to design reporting systems that ensure visibility into metrics and progress toward objectives.
Business, strategic, and operational leadership
Contribute to strategic planning by proactively identifying and quantifying emerging opportunities and risks through data-driven research and analysis.
Work cross-functionally to establish and refine KPIs that track organizational and company objectives; ensure those KPIs are highly measurable, understandable, and visible.
Leverage insights and body of work to advance process and operational changes.
Provide guidance and expertise on topics outside immediate scope as capacity and priorities allow.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
7+ years’ experience in analytics, business program manager, chief of staff, or similar role.
A proven ability to think broadly and strategically, to work across a matrixed organization.
Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.
Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
Understands data center growth, build out, and operations.
Proven understanding of sales field teams, customer growth patterns, and region utilization.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at different levels in the org, engaging with both technical and non-technical team members.
Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling.
Judgement, maturity, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.

US: Hiring Range: from $104,000 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
