Job Description
A leading pharmacy provider to the long-term care community is currently seeking a Pharmacy Outreach Coordinator
SpecialtyRx, a full-service pharmacy, partnering with sub-acute and long-term care facilities.
Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Pharmacy Outreach Coordinator is a key member of SpecialtyRx, client services department. Must be able to function in a highly visible, strong team environment to provide exceptional sales, customer service, a high degree of professionalism, a strong work ethic and the ability to maintain a positive attitude when dealing with customers.
As a Pharmacy Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and assisted living facilities to promote SpecialtyRx pharmacy services. The successful candidate will expand the pharmacy's presence in the community, increase service utilization, and foster partnerships that enhance patient care.

Responsibilities
Effectively communicate the benefits of pharmacy services to potential clients and partners.
Develop a strategy to target and engage assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities to promote pharmacy services and establish partnerships.
Work closely with internal pharmacy teams, including pharmacists, technicians, and administrative staff, to coordinate service delivery and address client needs effectively.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and policies governing pharmacy operations and outreach activities.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, client interactions, and partnership agreements.
Skills
Degree in Pharmacy, healthcare administration, marketing, or health related field (preferred)
Previous experience in sales, marketing, or outreach roles, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to be conscientious, efficient and accurate handling large amounts of information via spreadsheet or database.
Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel extensively locally and to other states to meet with clients.
