Description
We are looking to onboard a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Waco, TX. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will oversee all financial transactions and records, ensuring precision and adherence to accounting principles. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct a thorough analysis of account information to resolve any financial discrepancies.
• Ensure all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations are managed efficiently.
• Apply your expertise in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain orderly and accurate financial files and records.
• Administer payroll, preparing necessary tax returns and filings.
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for review.
• Work collaboratively with other team members on financial projection and budgeting.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Coordinate the preparation of business tax returns and reports to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Leverage your skills in budget forecasting and cash flow analysis to contribute to annual budget preparation and execution.
• Utilize your knowledge in preparing journal entries, adjusting entries, and preparing monthly financial reports.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Computerized Accounting System
• Competency in Great Plains (GPAC)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Annual Budget preparation
• Knowledge of Cash Flow Analysis
• Ability to prepare Adjusting Journal Entries
• Proficiency in General Journal management
• Experience in Journal Entries
• Familiarity with Journal Entry Preparation
• Ability to prepare Monthly Financial Reporting
• Experience in preparing Monthly Financial Reports
• Competency in preparing Financial Reports
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database
• Ability to handle Payable Invoices
• Familiarity with LEED Accounts Payable
• Ability to manage Weekly Account Payable
• Experience in Budgeting - Forecasting
• Knowledge of Cash Flow Forecasts
• Familiarity with Cash Forecasting
• Experience in Financial Forecast
• Ability to Prepare Trial Balance
