We are seeking a reliable and experienced Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks. As a Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of materials within our facility. Your responsibilities will include completing daily maintenance checks, operating the forklift to handle palletized units, recording materials and data accurately, and ensuring a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities: Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet to ensure the proper functioning of equipment. Safely put away palletized units by skillfully raising forks for placement into four or five high racks. Retrieve palletized units from four or five high rack locations and stage them for outbound shipment. Record accurate data including materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items using the RF system. Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices while adhering to safety protocols. Perform battery recharging, maintenance, and cleaning to ensure optimal forklift performance. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience operating a stand-up forklift or reach truck. Capable of comfortably lifting up to 75 lbs. as part of daily responsibilities. Strong communication skills with proficiency in reading and speaking English. Willingness to complete a pre-employment basic math skills test to demonstrate numerical aptitude. Ability and willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening. *Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.*
Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Additional certifications related to forklift operation and warehouse management. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift. Comfortable operating a stand-up forklift in various weather conditions. Capable of safely maneuvering heavy loads and working at heights using appropriate safety equipment.
Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to various temperatures. Note: This job may require working in a physically demanding environment that involves heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
