This is a part-time position available in the Rio Grande City area (23.50 hours per week).
**Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate Home Care Aide provider to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.
Responsibilities:**
- Provide health care services in patients residences.
- Perform domestic and household tasks.
- Transport and accompany patients to doctor's office or to hospital when needed.
- Administer simple prescribed medications.
- Assist with clients personal care activities.
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition.
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises.
- Helping patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks.
- Assisting the patient with cleaning and laundry.
- Purchasing groceries and household products, as well as preparing breakfasts and lunches.
Requirements and skills
- Provide companionship and basic emotional support when needed.
- Experience as Home Health Aide or Provider preferred but not needed Employer willing to train.
- Caring and compassionate personality.
- Must be bilingual.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs. or more.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
